    Agencies prefer working with Gooey rather than freelancers, as we work to budgets, timescales, fixed costs, and we are reliable, so you can be sure never to receive an email on a Friday night saying that we are going on holiday for a couple of weeks.

    All of our WordPress developers are based in our Manchester HQ.

    How we work with WordPress

    01

    Your Journey Begins

    Send us your designs (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop or Illustrator) and any specs/briefs/assets for our team to review. We are happy to sign any NDAs 🙂

    Project Scope

    Our devs will review and provide you with a fixed price and project timings / deadline. We put everything into a proposal so you can see exactly what you are getting and when.

    Development

    The project is then assigned to one of our expert developers and you will have a project manager who will guide the project through to completion. If you need to chat with the developer this is also fine, our PM’s can arrange this.

    04

    QA

    Once the developer has finished, the project is then passed on to our QA team who test the project against your designs/spec/brief to ensure all has been followed. The QA team will log amends via our amends system BugHerd and the developer will fix any issues.

    Preview

    When the QA team are happy with the project we then send you a preview with a full handover on a password protected white-label (not Gooey branded) domain. You can then review and log any amends on BugHerd. We offer two rounds of amends, one for the agency and one for your client.

    06

    Sign Off

    Once you are happy with the project we then sign off, and can either launch the site onto a dev or live environment, and/or send you the files and database. We can also host the site and offer ongoing support if needed.

      No, at Gooey, our team of WordPress developers only create custom themes, or can use your internal agency theme framework/boilerplate.

    • Do you work under NDAs?

      As a white label agency, we value discretion and work to strict NDAs to ensure confidentiality. We have an NDA template that we can send to you or we can sign yours.

    • Who owns the finished code?

      Once the WordPress project is complete and signed off, we will send you all files so that you will be in complete ownership and control of the code / WordPress theme.
